Trama episodio 1x05 di Grey's Anatomy . Meredith affronta i problemi e le responsabilità legate alla custodia dei beni di sua madre. Izzie prepara un party per festeggiare il fidanzato, Hank, ma si fa prendere la mano e la festa si estende a tutto lo staff dell'ospedale. Meredith è impegnata nella sua prima operazione cardiaca.
